摘要：
The system described is a self-contained unit that calculates and displays the coordinates of a diver's position in real time. Each position is measured in terms of the flight times of acoustic pulses between a unit carried by the diver and a long baseline array of hydrophones or transponders on the sea bed. The calculations are done by a microprocessor programmed with a novel algorithm.
