ELECTROSTATIC METHOD FOR MEASURING THE 2-PHASE PIPE-FLOW PARAMETERS

摘要
An electrostatic, noncontact method that has been invented and worked out on the basis of another method developed earlier for the continuous measurements of electric charges of solid particles in the two-phase flows of particulates in pipelines of pneumatic transport installations is presented. A microcomputer-based measuring system and some results of very preliminary tests are revealed. The system enables the continuous, noncontact measurements of the pipe flow parameters: the average velocity of flow and the mass flow rate.
