摘要
The role of spirituality in the etiology, progression, and treatment of alcoholism has been discussed and explored for some time now. In most of those discussions, it is the spirituality of the individual that has been the focus. This paper presents the concept of a "family spirituality" and discusses the effects of alcoholism on that spirituality. Suggestions are given regarding spiritually-based practices that clinicians can employ to heal and enhance the spirituality of the family that has been affected by alcohol. Acase example is included.
