EFFECT OF HIGH-TEMPERATURE THERMOPLASTIC TREATMENT ON THE MECHANICAL-PROPERTIES OF 09G2S STEEL

摘要
Increasing the mechanical properties of low-carbon and low-alloy steels is economically expedient if it is carried out during the course of rolling without any additional alloying and power-consuming heat treatment with a separate heating. In this paper, we consider one of the methods of producing a high-strength rolled material (sigma(U) greater-than-or-equal-to 520 N/mm2; sigma0.2 greater-than-or-equal-to 380 N/mm2; delta5 greater-than-or-equal-to 18%) based on a combination of hot-deformation and controlled-cooling processes in a single cycle, which secures the maximum amount of the plastic-deformation effects.
