摘要：

This article poses a critical approach to the emerging field of study that is being denominated "digital art history." I discuss the kinds of digital processes experienced by art history as a discipline, the conflicts and challenges implicit in this new working environment, and I propose a systematic, programmatic critical discourse that will examine the contradictions, paradoxes, inconsistencies, and marginalization underlying the digital evolution of art history.
