摘要：
Among the benzodiazepines, the ideal spectrum of action and its relatively rapid elimination makes midazolam in particular highly suitable for longterm sedation. Considerable variability in elimination, and in part prolonged elimination half life must be expected in particular in the case of the critically ill patient.
