摘要
The effects of simulated acid rain on the aluminium of soil minerals were evaluated. The acid rain had no effects on either the crystalline or amorphous aluminium oxides present on the surface or on those within clay minerals. The soil therefore showed a good buffering power as regards the mineral forms of the tested acid solutions. However, the prevalence of amorphous oxides over crystalline oxides and of quartz over phyllosilicates is an index of the precarious equilibrium of the soil at the time of sampling.
