摘要
In the present paper, two and three dimensional model tests have been conducted to study the behavior of strip and square footing subjected to eccentric - inclined load resting on unreinforced sand and reinforced sand. The effect of soil reinforcement (number of layers and size of reinforcement) and effect of load inclination and eccentricity of load on some relevant parameters, such as, ultimate bearing capacity, vertical settlement (S-e), horizontal displacement (H-d) and tilt (t) of the footings is presented, in this paper, in graphical as well as tabular forms.
