摘要
The behaviour of three phosphites, differing in chemical structure, phosphorous content and hydrolytic stability, has been analysed in stabilisation of polypropylene during extrusions in air and under nitrogen. The phosphites seem to counteract the action of oxygen and experimental work forces us to conclude that a direct interaction of the activated phosphite with molecular oxygen occurs at processing temperatures prior to the reaction with alkyl radicals to form peroxides.
