摘要
A method for incorporating process nonlinearities in predictive control calculations is proposed. It involves approximating the dynamic response of nonlinear processes through explicit expressions which are then used in the calculations of control action. The methodology is applicable to a class of nonlinear problems encountered in chemical process control. Simulation results obtained on single-input single-output (SISO) and multi-input multi-output (MIMO) stirred tank reactors show the improved control performance that the methodology offers over linear controller models.
