摘要：
A complex morphological investigation performed on 18 patients with alcoholic liver disease revealed 4 major entities: fatty liver, alcoholic hepatitis, steatofibrosis and cirrhosis. The histological, histochemical and EM techniques were useful to delineate some peculiarities of the alcoholic hepatitis; laparoscopy was an elective method in the diagnosis of steatofibrosis, latent cirrhosis and early portal hypertension. Certain morphological features (histochemical and infrastructural) had a predictive value concerning the progression of alcoholic liver disease.
