摘要
A new numerical method is presented for evaluating the natural frequencies of non-uniform beams. By this method, the traditional eigenvalue problem is transformed into a special initial value problem. All the natural frequencies of the beams can be evaluated by satisfying the boundary conditions specified in each case using numerical integrations.
