MATHEMATICS TEACHING THROUGH TECHNOLOGICAL MEDIA USE IN THE RESEARCH PROCESS

The main purpose of the essay is to highlight the importance of Mathematics teaching using technology. The essay is based on principles related to education through new technologies of information and communication. Articles related to this topic which state fundamental issues such as mathematics teaching perspective as a scientific discipline, research about it, the cotribution of Internet and TICs to pedagogical change in Higher Education were reviewed. Likewise, a critic analysis according to the genre of essay about the role of TIC in the teaching and learning process of Mathematics opposite to the traditional method as well as the importance of generating new models of teaching and learning. It is concluded that it is relevant to introduce Mathematics in the curriculum, the problem of the methodological paradigm within these researches and the value of TIC and Internet in higher education.
