摘要
A theoretical analysis of the transient behavior of four-wave mixing using forward Brillouin scattering is presented. An expression is derived for the growth rate of the forward scattered light. This is used to determine the experimental conditions under which forward Brillouin induced four-wave mixing could be observed.
