摘要：
The Shpol'skii effect provides a highly sensitive and selective spectroscopic technique which has been applied, in the last ten years, to the determination of polycyclic aromatic compounds (PACs), such as priority pollutant PACs, sulfur- and nitrogen-containing aromatic compounds, bio-geochemical markers, PAC metabolites and very large PACs.
