While the global and postmodern cities of the 21st century put into practice their urban development models, the recent immigration presents new challenges. From the approach of the Buenos Aires city and the setting-up of the "Chinatown" like an empirical case the article reflects about the "new" ways of the management of immigrant otherness in the public space of the city.
