摘要
The recent publication of the seminars delivered by Cornelius Castoriadis has allowed us to recognize a particular interpretation of Anaximander, whose thought is based on the opposition between the determined and the undetermined at the very initial moment of every existing thing. However, this interpretation has its origin as a controversy with Heidegger's conception, according to which Anaximander thought expressed the original tension between Being and Presence. Within this context, I aim at making explicit the controversy between the ideas of Heidegger and Castoriadis dealing with their interpretations of Anaximander's sentence. In order to account for such a controversy, I will develop a scheme of their interpretations of Anaximander's passage, the relationships with the interpretation provided by Nietzsche, and the influence of their own ontological considerations in the interpretation of the mentioned passage.
