摘要：

According to recent forecasts, a mox fuel fabrication capacity of 370t/y should be available in Europe and Japan in 1995. This capacity will allow the recycling of 19t/y of plutonium in LWRS. The French utility EdF, for one, has already made firm plans for plutonium recycle. The article discusses the problems with plutonium fuel and mox assembly design.
