摘要
Batch experiments were conducted to evaluate the kinetic parameters for the biodegradation of cutting oil with mixed culture of sewage origin. The order of reaction and chemical oxygen demand (COD) reduction rate have been evaluated at different incubation temperatures and time. Both the order of reaction and the COD reduction rate constant increase with increase in temperature. Biodegradation was favoured at near neutral pH range from 6 to 7.5.
