摘要：

Chrysosporium pilosum sp. nov., a keratinophilic hyphomycete isolated from river sediments and soil, is described. The fungus is characterized by its restricted growth on agar media at 25/37 degrees C and the production of conidia on deflected short protrusions, but its most prominent feature is the presence of broad, simple, thick-walled, brownish, sterile hyphae. The taxonomic position of the species is discussed.
