摘要
In this present communication, amorphous alloys NiZr//2, (Ni//0//. //4Co//0//. //6)Zr//2, (Ni//0//. //4Co//0//. //6)Zr and pure Ni and Co are investigated as anodes for O. E. R. (Oxygen Evolution Reaction) from 30 w/o KOH at 70 degree C. The authors conclude that the addition of cobalt is beneficial for O. E. R. The difference between Co and (Ni//0//. //4Co//0//. //6)Zr amorphous alloy as far as the electrocatalytic activity is concerned is due mainly to the lower Tafel slope observed for the Co anode. For all materials investigated, holding the potential at plus 0. 7 V//H//g/////H//g//O for 1 h before scanning results in higher // eta //2//5//0 values.
