摘要：

Strabismus surgery changes slowly with small improvements based on new technology and further experience. This article reviews recent publications from major ophthalmologic journals that address recent advances in strabismus surgery. Included in the review are methods of anesthesia, methods to better predict surgical results, and newer treatments for nystagmus.
