摘要：

The article deals with the present contribution of liberation theology from a theological point of view. It starts showing the double sense of the expression Liberation theology (theologal praxis-theological theory) and the "central intuitions" that internally characterize and structure it (the primacy of the praxis and the perspective of the poor/oppressed). Then the article deals with the problem of the present contribution of this theology (presence, visibility, relevance, pertinacity). At the end, it is approached what we consider its most important and fundamental challenges: God's partiality for the poor, the faith as realization of the will of God, the problem of mediations, the theologicalprophetic character of popular struggles, and the theory-praxis relation.
