Information Management Systems and Innovation to develop the Organizations

The purpose of this investigation is to identify the process through which the Management information system and innovation as factor for organizations development, starting from the postulates that define them, as well as the connotations and applications of the term used by some authors, like Freeman (1988), Schumpeter (1939), McFarlan (1985), O'Brien (2006), among others. Classifying the innovation in agreement of its characteristics of implementation. Then, refers to how the innovations factors of the ITs, database systems and the world of telecommunications thru the Web, have promoted the interrelationship between the MIS and his environment, guaranteeing the organization name as the brands name on the market that it represents, all from safe and reliable elements. The present investigation, concludes that the ITs strengthening provided by telecommunications improvements, allowed the SIG implementation, not only in the traditional sense of generating additional value towards the internal organization, but as a catalyzer of the external relations with other organizations or clients, permitting in many cases developing new market opportunities, based on the reliability and safety of the Web services, by which the organization is interrelated with the world.
