摘要：

Relation between varicocele and male infertility is well known and traditionally treated surgically. Transcatheter selective varicocele embolization or occlusion is an available technique and with a high rate of success. Knowledge of collaterals and anatomic variations reduce the recurrence possibility. Our experience in 23 patients with this pathology treated with angiographic embolization or occlusion is analized. We have used multiple emboligenous agents and sclerotherapy with farmaflebon that proved to be an efficient method. There were complications in four patients lumbar pain in two, and testicular phlebitis and lung embolization in the other two.
