摘要
Heart disease is the leading cause of morbidity and mortality in the United States. Atherosclerosis is the major cause of heart disease. It is a chronic inflammatory response. Many factors contribute to this chronic inflammation. This reviewlooks at the role of interferon gamma in atherosclerosis.
