摘要:
The simple Ohm's law eta-j(parallel-to) = E(parallel-to) is not satisfied in the a/2 less than or similar tor less-than-or-equal-to a region of the REPUTE-1 reversed-field-pinch plasma. Fluctuation-induced electric fields, such as (v x B), are not sufficient to account for eta-j(parallel-to) - E(parallel-to) at the edge. Current diffusion due to magnetic fluctuations, carried by fast electrons rather than bulk cold electrons, sustains the edge parallel equilibrium current.
