摘要
We discuss macroscopic effects of broadband light on the transport properties of a single-component gas. We use the method of elimination of fast variables to calculate the slow evolution equations for the number density, the hydrodynamic velocity, and the temperature. Using a model for the Boltzmann collision terms, we find explicit expressions for the heat flux and the pressure tensor. We apply these results to some transport problems. © 1990 The American Physical Society.
