摘要
A procedure to determine cost-optimal maintenance strategies for single channel Safety Instrumented Systems' (SIS) is presented in this work. Maintenance strategies are derived for predefined unavailability requirements. The maintenance strategies are composed of main prooftest and partial prooftest (e.g. partial stroke test of final elements) with incomplete prooftest coverage. The presented procedure is demonstrated in a practical case study.
