摘要
This paper describes the preparation and characterization of a fixed bed catalytic reactor based on sintered metals. A silicone elastomer solution is used to cover the internal surface of the sintered metal with a highly porous continuous silica layer, on which the active component can be applied. These reactors can be used for processes in which a uniform temperature within the catalyst bed is essential.
