EMULSION POLYMERIZATION OF VINYL MONOMERS INITIATED BY ACCELERATED ELECTRONS

摘要
A method for emulsion polymerization of vinyl monomers initiated by accelerated electrons is described. Contrary to common opinion, the developed method is not inferior to gamma-initiated emulsion polymerization with respect to the basic parameters (absorbed dose, polymerization rate, molecular mass of the polymers obtained). We confirm that processes of destruction of free radicals in the aqueous phase play an insignificant role in emulsion polymerization.
