摘要
During diffusional deformation of a 20vol.%Al2O3/ZrO2 composite, numerous observations of alumina grains penetrating the grain boundaries of the zirconia phase were performed. These observations, that show clearly the intercalation mechanisms during superplastic deformation of composite ceramics, are explained by considering the stress distribution along interphase boundaries.
