摘要
This paper discusses the private autonomy of older people when they are in situations of dependency according to the "Law of Old Age". For this, the author presents the autonomy system: the capacity, the will, the guardianship and the schemes of support, assistance and representation according to the Argentinean Civil and Commercial Code, in force since August 2015, its scope and the jurisprudence. In addition, it is considered the recent Inter-American Convention on the Protection of the Human Rights of Older Persons (CIDHPM) of the OAS, in force since January 11, 2017.
