The best traditions of the past, that return us to the experience of preceding generations, are examined in the article. They are becoming the factor and the fact of philosophical idea primarily in publicism and in literary work, acquiring huge public resonance. The features of today's historical moment, related to humanization of our society, updating of spiritual and moral sphere, put forward the questions of the development of personality in a spotlight. Historical philosophical-aesthetic and musical potential on the example of the Russian thinkers of the XIXth century is important in the comprehension of the different stages of cultural life of our society. And here spiritual connection of the present and the past appears to be especially interesting. Knowledge encyclopaedism the highest culture of communication, indefatigability of creative search in any sphere of human being and public consciousness of N. P. Ogarev and each of presented thinkers are saved an attractive force nowadays. The article shows the phenomenon of dilettantism in music of higher test through the special "type of philosophizing" in music, the analysis of which allowed us to feel music in this phenomenon as wealth, beneficence, as a free stream, as something - the most precious in life.
