摘要
The structure of society has changed over the us, life expectancy has increased all over the world and people have the opportunity to start a second career, which before was not possible due to pre-mature mortality. Facing the Era of Knowledge workers tend to seek new directions after retirement, which nowadays is no longer synonymous with rest, but the time to seek a new challenge in the pursuit of continuous personal development and self-realization. This study aims to identify factors that influence decisions for the second half of life. This is a descriptive exploratory study, data were collected through questionnaires given to 53 employees of a bank, who will retire over the next 10 years. The main results have identified a young audience by starting the second half of life, which has a readiness to face this transition to retirement, where the family is a strong influencing factor in decisions to this phase as well as the relationship with the team work and pay. Officials are concerned about their self-fulfillment and quality of life.
