摘要
When H2O and O2, together with either H-2 or D2, were passed over a heated Pt wire, the variation in E(a) with respect to the O2/(H-2 or D2) ratio was the same. This result is taken as evidence that the Pt-OH bond strength is affected by the coverage of oxygen on the surface, rather than by the effect of temperature on the hydrogen atom coverage.
