摘要
In this article the diffusion coefficient D//m and the partition coefficient alpha for potassium ferrocyanide in a bovine serum albumin membrane were measured using the steady-state method and the concentration step transient method. This material was selected for the membrane since cross-linked albumin is frequently used as a support for the immobilization of enzymes. As the diffusion resistance of the membrane was far greater than that of the solution boundary layer, the mass transfer resistance of the Levich boundary layer could be neglected.
