摘要：
We present the results of work carried out in recent years at the Scientific Center for Non- linear Wave Mechanics and Technology, Russian Academy of Sciences, which focused on the devel-opment and implementation of a new class of wave mixers, particularly the development of a wave mixer for high-viscosity non-Newtonian fluids. The findings of experimental investigations into the effect of wave agitation modes on the physical characteristics of some types of media, and possible applications for similar devices in the building, food, chemical, and other industries, are presented.
