摘要
The relationship between nonlinear effective area (A(eff)) and mode field diameter (MFD) is presented for the first time. The correction factor k of A(eff) and MFD (= A(eff)/(pi/4) MFD2]) is found to be approximately 0.944 for various dispersion shifted fibres (DSFs).
