JUMP-RELAXATION MODEL YIELDS KOHLRAUSCH-WILLIAMS-WATTS BEHAVIOR

摘要
Correlated forward-backward hopping sequences of the mobile ions are the elementary steps of jump relaxation. Being a common feature in solid ionic conductors jump relaxation consistently explains the experimental manifestations of the "universal dynamic response" (Garmisch 1987). In the meantime, the model has been considerably improved. The present calculated spectra are more realistic, while the number of parameters has been reduced. This has become possible by considering and describing the conditional effective potentials of all mobile ions in a comformable way. In particular we now reproduce the well-known empirical Kohlrausch-Williams-Watts stretched exponential function. © 1990.
