摘要
This research deals with the image of the brazilian northeast through the national film industry and aims to link it to the practice of tourism in the region and its propagation, being attractive or not to import tourists. For this, we study the Film Induced Tourism phenomenon as a marketing strategy for places, addressing concepts of the three foundation areas, such as Marketing, Tourism and Cinema for the study, explanation and training ideas. Then, discusses the status of cinema and the implementation of the strategy in Brazil, and then treats the idea of Northeast fixed in the people's mind today, and how the arts, and later, films, contributed and still contributes to this. Finally, points, based on data collected through questionnaires, the image of the region according to the vision of students of Cinema in Ceara, represented by the universities Universidade Federal do Ceara (UFC) and Universidade de Fortaleza (UNIFOR), and its consequences in tourist activity, indicating a deficiency in the film productions over the Northeast to attract visitors.
