摘要
Influence of purity and roughness of Ti6Al4V alloy in the 2M H2SO4 solution on electrochemical corrosion has been examined. Samples of Ti6Al4V alloy - Ti6Al4V-WT6 of the lowest purity, Ti6Al4V IMI and Ti6Al4V ELI of the highest purity were investigated. Specimen were either mechanically polished or grinded. Potentiostatic, galvanostatic and potentiodynamic tests were performed and the condition of the surface of each specimen after corrosion tests was examined. Examinations have shown better corrosion resistance of polished samples in comparison to grinded ones, irrespective of alloy purity. Regardless of the surface condition (grinded, polished) the highest corrosion resistance has been obtained for medium purity Ti6Al4V IMI alloy
