A SURVEY OF GLOVE AND MASK UTILIZATION IN A DENTAL SCHOOL CLINIC

摘要：
Objective: To establish the attitude of dental students and members of staff towards the wearing of aseptic gloves and face masks during the examination and treatment of patients. Design: A questionnaire requesting 'yes' or 'no' answers to specific questions dealing with the subject was distributed to students, interns and faculty members who practise dentistry. Setting: College of Dentistry, King Saud University, Riyadh. Results: The majority of respondents indicated that they would wear aseptic gloves and face masks while treating patients. Conclusion: There is an overall awareness amongst dental practitioners in the College of Dentistry of the importance and value of such simple procedures in the dental clinic.
