Trauma and psyche. Organization of the statutory accident insurance from a management perspective

The treatment of physical injuries has always been actively supervised and guided by the statutory accident insurance; however, treating the psychological effects of an extreme event requires particular care, special concepts for care and specially qualified therapists. Cases involving psychological trauma require special rehabilitation management oriented to the relevant contextual factors as well as to the extent of rehabilitation required on the basis of a holistic evaluation.
