摘要
Pain is an essential signal for individual survival. In the nervous system, pain is controled by endogenous opioid substances. Anti-opioid neuropeptides, like cholecystikinin or neuropeptide FF may compete with opioid effects and increase nociception. The adjustment of these two functions allows the organism to adapt with a fine tune the pain sensitivity to environmental circumstances.
