摘要
The results indicate that both the phosphorylated and the non-phosphorylated pathways of serine biosynthesis function to some extent in Neurospora crassa. The enzymes of phosphorylated pathway appear to be more active in glucose-grown cells than do the enzymes of the non-phosphorylated pathway. However, the relative activities of the 2 pathways can be altered by changing the carbon source to fructose.
