Permanent magnets of various compositions [Sm2(Co, Cu, Fe, Zr)17, SmCo5, Nd13.5Dy1.5Fe77B8, Nd15Fe77B8] were taken to investigate the thermal remagnetization effect (TRE) in dependence of constant and alternating quasistatic magnetic field. A new characteristic of TRE was found. It constitutes the temperature dependence of external magnetic field compensating TRE for a time of temperature cycle. The formulas are proposed for calculation of TRE at the initial portion of temperature curve. Satisfactory agreement of calculated and experimental curves testifies that the formulas are correct.
