摘要
We have examined the **2**9Si resonances for a series of glasses covering most of the glass forming range, from 25 to 70 mol% PbO, and have assessed the quality of fit of these spectra to various numbers of Gaussians as predicted by the binary and statistical models. We have also looked at the effect of annealing and devitrification in an attempt to understand the role of silicon in the glass network structure of binary PbO-SiO//2 glasses.
