摘要
This article describes the general characteristics of Virtual Teaching and Learning Environments (VTLE), both in regular and in distance education, along with the usual tools for creating, managing, and distributing activities. First, we identify some differences between regular and distance teaching, highlighting aspects specific to the roles of teachers and students and to the teaching tools of a VTLE. Second, we make proposals for improving the use of the current university's VLTE. Finally, we describe the advantages of using a virtual component in a regular class and as a tool for homework activities.
