MULTIMEDIA ENVIRONMENT FOR COMPUTER-BASED TRAINING IN ELECTRONICS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES

The paper presents the general guidelines of a multimedia environment targeted to Computer-Based Learning (CBL) applications in the fields of electronics and information technologies. The environment is based on an Object Oriented programming language, whose features and advantages are taken into consideration. The emphasis of the paper is on the practical educational applications on Digital and Analog Electronics and Image Processing that have been built upon such foundations. The courseware implemented so far is reviewed and its main features are examined.
